Climate Change Adaptation: The New Normal

The message Aaron Wilson is sharing with Ohio farmers is that climate change is happening here and now and is impacting everyone. As State Climatologist of Ohio, and Assistant Professor, Ag Weather and Climate Field Specialist, Wilson travels around the state, meeting with the farming communities and discussing the new normal. He recommends adopting a process from the Northeast Institute of Applied Climate Science's (NIACSs) Adaptation Workbook. Adaptation is site-specific and requires decision-making at the farm level.
