OSU Department of Geography Professor Steven Quiring is part of a research group that has created the Hurricane Power Outage Model.  While the current version does not explicitly consider power outages due to storme surge and heavy rainfall (two factors anticipated to have large impacts with Harvey), the model provides potentially useful information for people in all sectors.
