It is the last of their Spring 2024 Speaker Series, "Climate Lessons for Our Cities: Global Perspectives on Climate Change in Urban Environments."State Climatologist of Ohio, Aaron Wilson, Assistant Professor, Agricultural Weather and Climate Field Specialist with the Department of Extension in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences at The Ohio State University, will provide an overview of the Fifth National Climate Assessment, with particular emphasis on the ramifications for the Midwest United States. Following Dr. Wilson's presentation, Dr. Ryan Winston from The Ohio State University, Katie Devlin from IMPACT, and Jennie McAdams from Franklin County Public Health will deliver brief "flash talks" highlighting climate resilience partnerships in Central Ohio. The event will take place at the Scott Hall and be offered virtually.
