AgTech Innovation Hub: Climate Resilience
The AgTech Innovation Hub is a collaboration of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, Ohio Farm Bureau, and The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. The Hub converges on research and innovation activity focused on developing new solutions to help the agricultural community understand, manage, and mitigate climate risk.
One of the projects in 2024-2025 set out to enhance learning opportunities for Extension Educators and Specialists along with Nationwide representatives by developing climate resilience curriculum, highlighting farmers' stories on impacts from extreme weather, and raising awareness on the insurance aspects of weather related losses.
Below are important resources curated and or developed by the Extension/Nationwide cohort.
