Aaron Wilson, the State Climatologist of Ohio, was the keynote speaker at the 2023 William Fowler Science Series held at The Ohio State University's Lima campus on January 31, 2023. The audience included Ohio State students and Lima City School students. Dr. Wilson spoke about climate change, its weather impact affecting everyone personally, in all aspects of their daily living, and climate solutions to think about as they look to the future.

Stardust: The William Fowler Science Series is a cross-disciplinary collaboration between Lima City Schools and Ohio State's faculty and leaders. This event's namesake is the astrophysicist William A. Fowler, who grew up in Lima and won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1983.
