Persistent Drought Continues in Ohio Despite Recent Rainfall
Severe to extreme drought conditions are currently affecting Southeast Ohio, while Central and Eastern Ohio are experiencing moderate drought. Despite some rainfall over the past weekend, it was isolated and not enough to offset the existing water deficit for the hardest hit areas in the southeast.
The forecast for the next seven days predicts continued dry conditions, which may intensify drought and exacerbate the drought's impact.
